Our church, International Assembly of God is in the process of buying a new facility which can accommodate over 250 people in the sanctuary, a fellowship hall which can be seated over 220 people, lots of class rooms, youth hall, nursery, a commercial kitchen in the downtown of the city of Chandler and close to all the freeways. Please pray that the Lord will grant HIS provisions to acquire the much needed facility for this growing, family-friendly, spirit filled and loving family church in Arizona.

Seven Wonders of the Scripture

1. The wonder of its formation—the way in which it grew is one of the mysteries of time.
2. The wonder of its unification—a library of 66 books, yet one book.
3. The wonder of its age—most ancient of all books.
4. The wonder of its sale—best-seller of all time and of any other book.
5. The wonder of its interest—only book in the world read by all classes of people.
6. The wonder of its language—written largely by uneducated men, yet the best book from a literary standpoint.
7. The wonder of its preservation—the most hated of all books, yet it continues to exist.

Today’s thought

We all need forgiveness! Forgiveness will be given when we become obedient to the law. The Bible says we must abide in the vine. Remember we are the branches, but only when we are in the Vine. The Vine will have joy if the Vine has branches which bear fruits. A branch will have joy if it will remain in the Vine. Unless we are in HIM, He cannot give HIS marrow and we cannot receive the strength to sustain and be productive. Christ is the Vine and if we are HIS branches, as HE is PURE and HOLY, we must be PURE and HOLY. In Greek the word ‘Catharose’ means true purity in heart. Today, as we join the brethren to praise the VINE (CHRIST), may we be pure in our heart and become a strong and productive branches.

Our weakness is our strength in Christ

2 Corinthians 11:30 – 12:10

‘To dwell on own excellence is dangerous because it causes us to turn our attention from God’s glory to our own and strokes the sinful desire to create a circle of admirers for ourselves rather than disciples for Christ.’ (New American Commentary)

When you are being humiliated by anyone, believe it is the channel you will be exalted by your Master.
